I’m a native German who left the European nest as a teenager, lived in Hamburg, Lüneburg, Frankfurt, Iowa, Paris (France) and over

20 years in New York City, where I studied acting and directing (including at Yale School of Drama) and performed in theatre, TV and film, as well as almost 40 movies as a background actor. Los Angeles has been home since 2011, where I now work in my professional home studio, narrating in both English and German. My first audiobook "Hitler Youth" received an AudioFile Earphones Award. With multiple titles in the non-fiction space, having worked with Penguin Randomhouse, Deyan and many independent authors, I am also drawn to fiction with strong female characters, in the YA, detective, thriller, mystery and some romance genres.

When not performing or teaching, there’s a good chance I'm...

...at the beach, riding my bike or enjoying sunsets
...listening to music, as my love for both classical and jazz music stems from my years as a former violinist and tenor sax player.
...helping others as a certified yoga teacher, energy bodyworker and holistic wellness coach. I am invested in personal growth, mindfulness, meditation and understanding the body-mind-spirit-health connection, and have worked with hospitals, endangered youth centers, behavioral health clinics, senior facilities and addiction recovery .
...searching for my next travel destination. As a former flight attendant with Lufthansa, I have been to 25 US states and 26 countries (Kenya being one of my favorites), hoping to make it to Bali, New Zealand and Hawaii in the near future.
...volunteering at the Los Angeles food bank "Nourish LA", feeding thousands of Angelenos with food insecurities every week.
